Or just keep the 2007 given it's "issues". Or having it over would you just move away from Shelby all together what would you replace the car with?

    Regards

You should consider a 2011 GT500. Aluminum block along with other improvements should make handling and performance better.

I almost traded my 2008 for a 10 but after driving the 10 I went to my local dealer and got them to do the clutch upgrade as pr tbs. What a difference in drivability. No more chatter and much easier shifting. Car is much nicer to drive. I think the 10 had more amenities and a sharper interior but I like the look of the outside of 07-09 better and I wasn't looking for luxury just brute acceleration. With 3.73 gears cold air and 2.65 pully thats what I got. Next is a weight diet and then a 2.8 whipple but that is down the road. If you like the 10 and can get a fair trade on yours go for it. I went into the reveiws and the mags liked it better but they still compare it to the vette and that is a different class of car then a mustang so we take alot of guff on that front. good luck on whatever you do.

Well I do like my 2007 and its production number is one of the first ones made. I think the production number is 19 or something. Anyway in 2010 they went away from the live axle and I kinda like the live axle.

Yes my biggest problem is the TSB to the clutch flywheel and I guess now transmission synchronizers. It's a little rough but I have the extended premicare warranty and my local dealer said if it did tear up it would in fact be covered and not to worry about it.

But I planned on taking it on a long road trip. And I really don't need my clutch going out on me because the dealer thinks it shifts smooth as silk. Which is a lie.

    Regards

    Dan

Here is how you get dealer to fix clutch. You must go in a tell them that you were in heavy traffic or a car cruise or somthing that would cause an extended stop an go situation and you took your car out of gear and it would not go back in. Then tell them it seems ok now so to duplicate the problum they will have to go out and get stuck in traffic. they do not have time to do that so they may just go aheadand order parts which took 2 weeks to get. this is the sitiuation the tsb describes that turned on the it,\'s ok to repair. You might have to go back with the same complaint a couple of times to document it but they should fix it for you or find another dealer who will. I have to say it is well worth the time. I can now drive my car in traffic and not get irritated with the clutch drives like a stock GT untill you mash the throttle much more fun to own. Ford should have just taken care of this to begin with.
