Just got the Marti report on this '69 GT500 I'm working on. The last six of the VIN is 480653 and the report says "653rd Shelby scheduled for production...." To me this sorta implies that the Shelbys were assigned their own block of serial numbers. Yes? No? Cheers and thanks Doug
The first part of the VIN should be 9F0 ,then all 69 shelbys had 48 for the next two and then the sequence number ****. So 9F048**** is a good number.
