Is there anywhere I can look to find where the stripes are correctly placed on a 69 convert ??
    Thanks

    That shouldn't be too hard.

    thanks for the picture 2+2GT
Is the stripe parallel to the body line ?
how far down from the body line ?
is it centered between the front scoop and rear tail light marker ?
I only want to do this once.

    Thanks

Looking at that car, which I have seen in person, and old photos, the stripe is centered in the front scoop, and the rear marker, and arrow straight in between.

Until you start to apply them:laf:. Yes on the centering of the stripe in the front scoop area and the rear marker light. I would highly suggest useing the new stripes Branda is selling now. They are the right phont ,the right tint, and the right size when compared to the originals . Other repro ones or even the ones Branda used to sell are not factory correct if that matters. Wraping the scoops can be tricky especially convertibles. When cutting out the stripe material for the rear marker light -make a "X" in the opening and fold the stripe tape into the trunk area . Don't cut out the hole. Also besure to fold over some extra stripe material around the door edge and fender edge. The factory used a pass of a brush dipped in yellow weatherstrip adhesive to secure the ends . I hope this helps. Bob

yes this is what I was looking for, I do have the Branda stripes and I will use some yellow weather strip glue on the ends.
    Thanks again
