Looking for info on my 68 GT350 Shelby

    I just joined and was wondering how a person checks a vin on a shelby or gets info on a persons shelby.
    I own a 68 gt350 that was a hertz car in Florida. How can I get any known info on the car?

    Check with someone who has a registry ( I don't) Maybe someone with one will reply.What kind of info are you looking for?

    You can always send an e-mail to the 68 Shelby Registrar at SAAC...

    Supply sufficient info (VIN) to show possession and he can give you details on whatever info they have on file.

    There are lots of gaps in the data for 68's, though.... but, they should have some paper trail for the Hertz cars.

    I have last years registry.
    See you have a Hertz car. I also have a 68 350 Hertz car that was shipped to New York. Email me your car number and I will look it up.

    Try the SAAC registar for the 68's. He'll tell you what SAAC has. Mail in an update too as the new registry will be getting worked on in 2006 I think.

    And, you can get a Marti report at www.martiauto.com
    Ok, that will cost you depending on the type of Marti report you buy. But, the basic one will tell you the build dat, how many of how many, what the car came from the factory with, dealer sold to, and more.
