Just got my new Shelby last week and it is awesome. Kona Blue with white stripes. Additionally it is my first Ford as well after having about 4 corvettes in the past. Decided I needed to try a Shelby. I have about 240 miles on it so far and am babying it while we go through our 1st 1,000 miles together. Anyway I was showing a friend the motor last night and noticed the rubber hose going over the supercharger is leaking some type of fluid or fuel and leaving a stain on the chromed fuel rail on both sides of the engine at both ends of the rubber hose.
My question is this normal or do I need to take her in for a warranty check? Ive never had a supercharger before either so maybe this is normal, yet unsightly.

Welcome! Our 2011 Shelby is Kona blue with white stripes, too. Ours is a convertable.
We only have around 450 miles on. I probably baby it more than I need to, but I know my husband doesn't.
I have never looked at the engine very closely. I have seen my husband show the engine to people and I am positive there was nothing leaking or he would have said something. Seems to me that the best thing would be to go have the dealer take a look. A new car shouldn't be leaking fluids.
