I got my SGT back a month ago after a neighbor dinged my front bumper. After replacing and painting I was told to wait a bit before re-striping. Its been thirty days and we have a local car show this weekend for charity. Does anyone know where I can get the stripes in time? If anyone at Shelby is reading this please let me know what I can do. Its been a rediculous run-around at the dealer where my autobody guy has been trying to get the vinyl. While I'm looking I was also curious about the hood stripes as my car came with a rather nasty defect under the stripe near the end of the hood; looks like theres a piece of lint or something under the stripe.

Lastly, what can I/we do to get a full stripe kit and a replacement scoop. I've been out to the dealer several times trying to get stuff warrantied. The people seem baffled by the process in which to get stuff from Shelby. I have a legit car and after all this back and forth I just want to replace the stock stuff with something authentic from Shelby. How hard is it to just buy the stripes and get a new hood scoop, mine looks like its warped and the stripes look like crud after only 5k. Cmon Amy, a bit of help would Soooo appreciated.

There are many threads regarding the hood scoops and stripes on SGT's going bad over at teamshelby.com You may or may not be able to access their website right now as it's been under attack by some sort of virus. Good luck.

By the way, Amy has been gone from SAI since April--she's at West Coast Customs now...
