Anybody know if the wiring harness at the firewall unplugs easily? Any funny clips to watchout for breaking?

I would like to replace my very brittle harness that starts at the firewall and feeds the oil press. and temp. sending units, coil, heater blower and starter solenoid. I just don't want to screw-up the plug at the firewall and end up replacing a harness under the dash too.

    Any info. would be appreciated

When they have been "clicked" together for a long time they get stuck. I have a 66 Mustang, and, all I can say is wiggle one end, then wiggle the other. Go back and forth until you see them separate. There are 4 metal tabs that hold the other end into the firewall, be careful not to bend those.
