Spoke with Carl's and Jim Cowles and they feel this is an original Cobra carb used with the 428 and aluminum intake. holley tech has no info for this list# which is also ink stamped on the horn. Is there a Cobra Guru here?

If anyone here had any interest it was found in the 1997 catalog Pg.73 289 Shelby 306HP 725CFM. Taking it over to Craig Conley so he can check it out.

What ended up being the case with this carb? A friend of mine has one with identical markings.

I do not remember off hand. Think I sold it to Craig and will ask him for you.

It's all good. I'll ask Craig when I see him in the next week or so. He is kindly going to check out my '65 GT350 and give me a run down on what's missing from it so that I can make it right during resto.

    Cheers.
