And besides, if you should happen to have a flat and you pull your lovely Campagnolo magnesium wheel and tire off to install the spare, where would you put the flat? Surely you wouldn't leave it on the side of the road. So in this day of cell phones and Fix-A-Flat most Pantera guys forgo the spare. Mine is buried somewhere in my mother's basement, along with a second brand new, never-mounted original replacement tire for a space-saver wheel..... Mike you are basically right . The pantera space saver is the same as the 1970 mustang spare but is different then the 69/70 Shelby. It is F78 15 instead of 7.35 15 like in the 69/70 Shelby . The size when inflated is nearly the same and would work fine.
