Shelby wore bib overalls, was from Texas and wore cowboy boots. You would think the pedals would be designed for racin in cowboy boots. I used to autocross in sandals, then leather shoes when I graduated to the real race car. Get that car out of the city and find some really curvy roads or a race track. If you want city driving, get a newer Shelby with automatic, AC and a system. > > From: jonlee@wt.net > Date: 2005/07/30 Sat AM 11:19:47 EDT > To: Shelby List <shelbymustang@carmemories.com> > Subject: Re: RE: 65 350 Tranny > > Im still trying to drive with one hand on wheel and other on stick. lEE: Im so happy that Im not the only one that will drive a car with sandals. !!!hahaha I thought I was the only weird one with funny driving habits.Ha Ha everyone that sees me driving always makes a comment about my bare feet, sandals, or boots. -hahaha I dont care though!!! I live for myself and enjoy what life has to offer. There is one thing I learned about life... You take "Carmemories" with you when you pass on to the next world and never the car itself. It stays in this world for others to do the same. Now let me go out there and make some good old fashion car memories!!
