Hi, I have decided, after 8 years without a Shelby or Mustang, that I would buy one and was glad to see this forum. 8 years ago I sold my '68 GT350 and my '68 1/2 Cobra Jet and started restoring Corvettes ('66 and '67) and working on judging with NCRS. I really missed my Fords, so I have sold my '66 Vette (I'm keeping the '67 L71 coupe though, I love it) and am replacing it with a '68 GT500KR. Looking forward to the wisdom here, it seems very much like the NCRS forums, just not as active.

Welcome Mike, glad you found the website. How long did you own the 1968 GT350? Did you restore it? Do you have a '68 GT500KR picked out yet?

Thanks, these forums are a great place to get tips and advice, and give it too. I owned the GT350 for 5 years and did much parts replacement to get it back to original, as well as few mods for better driving. Yes, I did most myself except the steering work which I didn't have the tools or experience for doing. Yes, I just bought the GT500KR and am expecting to get it soon, it needs a few fixes on gauges before I will arrange for shipping.
