1969 GT 350 Front coil springs

Discussion in 'Shelby Mustang List' started by GT350HZ@aol.com, Aug 1, 2005.

  1. Does anyone know what the original spring weight of the front coil springs
    are for a 1969 GT 350?

I am trying to decide what to replace them with, I would like to not use the
car for normal city and highway driving. Trying to get better handling
without going too soft or too harsh.
I am planning to lower the car 1" also, so I am looking at 550 lb, 600 lb,
    and 620 lb springs.

I use 620's in all of my cars, work great, not too stiff by any means, good combo. I always match them with upgraded rear springs also, fyi.
