Hello all! I am very close to owning my first Shelby. I am looking at the 08 and 09 KR. The 08 is silver with blue stripes no nav 525 miles, and for some strange reason it has BF Goodrich tires. I can buy this car for 51K. My other option is an 09 w/ 1800 miles red w/ silver stripes no nav, but the correst Goodyear F1 tires for 52K. Considering the production numbers were 1000 for 08, and 1571 for 09, (only 571 for US however), which car should I buy?

    Thanks:unsure:

neither one. that is too much money for that car. go over to the ford gt500 forum and find don. "1badsho" He finds cars for a small fee and good at it too.

What would a good price be then? By the way, the gt500 forums would not let me past the nospam verification. It doesn't work. I tried like 10 times, then it says contact the admin if you have trouble with the nospam verification, so I tried that but could not contact the admin because I failed the nospam verification for contacting the admin. The site is inaccessible.

Or you could give an offer on either one of those two KRs you mentioned that is substantially less than the asking price. they may accept the offer. You never know unless you ask. There is a lot of cars for sale out there and there's probably one or two that are willing to go low on their final price.

Mid 40's is a good price for the 09, and low 40s for the 08. KR's are cold for some reason. I agree with them being over priced, but being limited makes up for it. Good luck. Is there and mustang clubs or Shelby clubs in Houston except MCOA that you know of?

Here is another aspect. Do you want the KR badging or the performance of the KR. You can buy an 09 for under 40k and easily modify it up to the HP. You might want to drop back and try again on the gt500 forum.
