I am currently mobilized with the Army going on my third deployment since 2006. My 7th career deployment. I have secured an order for a 2012 Shelby GT500 SVT. It should be in NE waiting for me at the dealership when I come home. This car has been a long time coming and I am very excited to be part this special community. I have never owned a car like this before. Mostly because of my current deployment operational tempo. It does however look like I will be home for awhile after this one to enjoy my Wife, Daughter and our not yet born Shelby. I have plans to take a Route 66 road trip when we take possesion. If anyone out there knows of any scenic routes we can take I would appreciate it.

Ingot silver with Colorado red stripes. The only upgrade is the SVT package. I do have concerns about the stripes. I saw a 2010 running around today and it looked like the stripes that go down the side of the car were coming off. I'm thinking I might have clear coat shot over them if it won't mess with the warranty. What do you think?
