I am trying to detail out my '68 KR for show and am wondering what items, like glove box contents, sunvisor tag, engine tags, etc. where on the car when it was delivered to the new owner from the dealer. Is there a website that specifies these or any ideas? Thanks.

Well, it probably depends a lot on the dealer. But, I think an owners manual and probably a warranty card (or temp card) is a pretty safe bet.

Here is a photo of a Ford document sent to dealers outlining the different items that were suggested to be installed in the glovebox. A special plastic bag was normally used to put the paperwork in but i have also seen a paper envelope with the dealers name on it also. Although not listed it was common for a "Safety Tips" fold out to be included in 66-70 (different each year) Shelby's (Mustangs also). Additionally if a new owner purchased a extended power train warranty the sequentially marked certificate would be included as well. It just might be hard to shut the glovebox. :laf: I hope this helps. Bob
