Opinion Please - steering box

    same here & still managing it most every day, and I am just a scrawny old man with arthritis, no Hercules.

    If you go with front tires wider than 195's the steering effort WILL go up. I use 195/70-14's with no steering effort issues.

    ever happen to anyone?? My shelby 2007 lost all steering. Something in the box let go. The steering wheel and shaft turns but nothing in the box. Does reparing this problem indicates in auto repair manuals?

    Hmmm… I think you're on the wrong forum, this is for 1965-1970. I saw the steering on a 2007 once, I remember it's R&P, which means it has nothing at all in common with 65-70.
