    Hi all this is possibly more proof,that if Shelby had no pattern or even method of keeping track it is very difficult for us to put an exact number on the cut off/change date things occured.Just to let you know..Bob and the rest of us are going by what we see during a show or convention..that still leaves lots of unanswered and unknown cars.I can think of the convention in 88 that helped me prove the Z had nothing to do with type of lights..we would need an accurate method and so far that has not happened...more on this later.
    Regards P.D. (Both of my cars are inboards)

    With the printing of the new '65 - '67 registry, I've been able to compile a more complete a list of all the '67 Shelby D.S.O. numbers. I've posted the revised list on my website at http://www.s-techent.com/DSO1967.htm. There are a lot of gaps so let's get together and fill them in. Please send me copies of any D.S.O.s on the list that I do not have complete information for. Thanks.

    There is a new page on my website with updated information about all the D.S.O. codes. This information was compiled from published data in the 1965 - 1966 - 1967 Shelby Registry. I think you'll find it interesting. It also puts into perspective which were the first '67s and which were the last. And if someone has additional information or corrections they'd like to share, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'll get right on it.

    Many thanks to those who helped me put this together.

    Amazing Job Roy!!!! You obviously have spent a lot of your personal time on this Huge Project... Thank you!!

    Shelby #3000 had the original D.S.O. sheet under the carpet. DSO # 89-2604. It is truly a Great piece of History to have with a Shelby.

    I reviewed DSO #89-2604 info on your web site. You nailed it!

    Great job!

    Just wondering if anyone provided a copy of Add/Delete Sheets for DSO 84-2538? My car is from this lot and totalled 61 cars. All the cars had thermactor/smog but to my surprise only 27 went to Calif dealers (emissions required) with a fair amount to Colorado also. It appears- extracting data from the registry- that most of these Smog cars (84-2538) went to non-smog states at the time- Arizona, Florida, Illinois, New York and and even Puerto Rico to name a few. Anyway if any reader has a copy of the add/deletes for this group I'd like to get a copy?
    R/

    Dave,In many cases the cars were not built for specific dealers or customers but built on speculation that a certain combination would be needed. These spec cars were sent initially to holding lots and when a dealer order came through inventory was checked and the appropriate car was sent . The smog may not have been a consideration if a particular color and or equipment was the priority. I have heard numerious stories of original owners settling for what came in because they did not want to wait for another car. On more then one occasion the car was a completely different color then what was expected. This scenario would explain why and how smog equipped cars would find themselves delivered to non smog states. I haven't done the research but I would not be surprised if some non smog cars found themselves sent to smog states too .

    Thanks Bob- I was just alittle surprised at the results. I assumed that cost would have driven a more efficient distribution system and that the more expensive smog equiped cars would have been shipped/allocated to states where the equipment was needed. My limited research- just using the registry- is that some 466 GT-500's came with thermactor smog yet I counted only 321 that went to Calif. What other states had emissions laws in 1967? I suspect Colorado (anybody know) as many of these smog cars went there also.
    Maybe this partially explains why Morrisons' #939 (smog car) first went to Illinois in June 67 and then back to Calif for sale in late Sept 67? The irony there is the fact that my car #636- nightmist blue/parchment/4speed- identical in everyway to his "blue lady" other than the wheels (hub caps versus magstars) was sitting in the Pico Rivera inventory lot-just 20 miles away. My car #636 was completed in April 67 and not shipped to Stockton Quincy Ford until 10/2. Morrison car was bought 9/29 at that same dealer and it was shipped 2,000 miles at that.

    I know this is a really old post, but I’m trying to gather all the ’67 Shelby SVO sheets for each DSO group. Several of them listed in this thread are on my “wanted” list. If you can share a copy please let me know. Below is the list I have complete sets of for these SVO "Add / Delete" sheets for DSOs;

    1967 Shelby SVO sets;
    84-2549 (different format, possibly retyped)
    84-2555 (great legible copy)
    84-2571 (great legible copy)
    84-2572 (original and an altered copy)
    84-2590 (could use better copy as it is difficult to read & missing last page #8)
    84-2591 (could use better copy of first page)
    84-2596 (good copy)
    89-2606 (dark copy – could us better copy of page 1)
    89-2608 (heavily marked – could us better copy of page 1)
    89-2609 (heavily marked with a water stain on bottom on each page)

    1967 Shelby Trans Am Coupe SVO set;
    89-2801 (missing page 1, have pages 2-5)

    Even if you just have the cover page of any SVO sheet / DSO group that would be very helpful.

    Thank you,
    Rich

    Here's an updated list of SVO sheet sets we have gathered with lots of help from the SAAC forum members and the '1967 Shelby Research Group" on google. I'm sure many of you have seen those posts. We're looking for any missing sets or pages, but would especially like to see a set for the GT500s with A/C. (packages 201F, 203F, 401F, 403F, or the one offs builds 411H, 413C) Thanks as always for any help.

    I have complete sets of the following SVO "Add / Delete" sheets for DSOs;
    84-2536 original copy
    84-2549 retyped copy (kindly recreated to help read the details)
    84-2551 original copy
    84-2555 original copy
    84-2571 original copy
    84-2572 original copy
    84-2574 original copy
    84-2590 original copy (very faint copy; missing last page #8)
    84-2591 original copy
    84-2596 original copy
    89-2606 original copy (dark copy with stained markings on page 1)
    89-2608 (marked with a water stain on each page) added 1/1/2019
    89-2609 (heavily marked with a water stain on bottom on each page)
    89-2613 original copy
    89-2801 (missing page 1, have page 2-5) T/A coupe

    Here are the SVO sheets that we only have the first page, for DSO's;
    84-2562 original page 1 & 2 (could use larger copy to ease reading)
    89-2580 original page 1 only (very dark poor copy)
    89-2602 original page 1 & 8 (blurred copy)
    89-2604 original page 1 (heavily stained)
