1970 GT500 strut tower painted black or red?

    Hellow everyone. Got a 1970 gt500 and need to know if the shock tower is painted black or red color of underside. Thanks Robert

    The engine compartment side should be painted black.

    IF your asking about the spring side of the shock tower it would normally match the color used on the bottom of the frame rail which can differ depending on when your car was assembled. This color may be completely covered by black overspray (from the radiator support black out being applied further rearward than normal by a worker) or by body color (from the radiator support black out being applied further forward than normal by a worker)
