Can we all agree that this model has it all. Setting still it looks as if is going a100 mph. It is comfortable enough to drive across country, and it has athumpin motor under it's fiberglass hood. I love them, but tell me you think about them.
I had a 1969 GT500 until it was stolen in Dallas in 1982. You are correct , it was comfortable, had a thumpin big motor that no vette or anything else in that day could touch and it turned heads,,,,,but I now have this 2009 BEAST that will run circles around the 1969. Sorry but the 2009 rules.
I think every Shelby is the kind of car that makes you smile when you look at it. 69's are nice but the 67's are rolling artwork. That is why I own one.
Imo, I think the 69-70 are the least attractive by far from the original shelby mustangs from 65-70. They look like AMC Javelins from the front end.I would rather have a 69 Mach1 in that year or Boss. 65-68 Shelbys are the best with 67 being the greatest looking Shelby ever!
