    Hello All,
I have a question about what color to paint my 1970 Gt350.
I don't want to go aqua blue again with gold stripes.
Blue is nice but doesn't seem to be a hot color.
Looking for a color that everyone thinks is a great muscle car color.
Doesn't have to be an original color.
    The interior is black.
    Thanks for everyones time.

You'll be sorry unless your post is just meant to stir the pot:whistle:.

Without getting into the issue of affecting the value of the car by changing the original color, I will say that I like blue. I also prefer to see Shelbys in original colors, but it doesn't really matter what I like; what do you like?

    69classic,
Personally I do not think there is a single color that screams muscle car as each body style looks good in a different color. For example I think a key lime Cuda looks fantastic, but I would never put that color on a GTO or Charger. As for the Aqua Blue with Gold stripes, that is a color combo I would actively search for if I was buying a '70 as I think it looks great on the '70 Shelby body.
All of that being said, it is your car, paint it whatever color you think will make it look good.

    Jay

Most will say keep it original but if you don't like the original color I always loved Calypso coral, but look up pictures of other cars and find a color you will like. I would only change the color if you plan on keeping the car long term, a color change could hurt resale value.

If you mean your car is Gulfstream aqua, with golds stripes, I find THAT to be truely attractive.
But, as already mentioned, it's your car, do with it as you wish.

I had a friend who had a 69 GT500 that was "Competition Orange" and beautiful. Another "wowzer" color would be to clone the Playmate of the Year award and paint it pink that GT500 was.
