Rshelby I was wondering if you could help, I'm curious as to who would like the Shelby Lettering across the back of the GT 500 Deck Lid. The following options I believe would work 1) Leave the Shelby lettering across the back like the Red Prototype 2) Move Shelby Lettering to one side 3) No Shelby lettering 4) Could Care less give me a shelby car and I'll do what I want with it. Adding is there anyway we could make a request to have someone create the letters in the event Ford decides not to put them on the car final production. I'd would be willing to pay for that. Cheers Requis
Wish they had put it in the center like Shelby Auto put it on the CS6. Yes our thoughts didnt help at all. Lost out on the Badging and the Hood. But I guess we will just have to get used to the lettering being on the Left and out of balance. They probably should have just left the lettering off all together... instead of deminishing the cars image as a SHELBY. Im dissappointed... but still love the HP... It should be an awsome car !!
...Easy fix with the offcentered shelby lettering!..Its just 2 way tape that holds the lettering, just move it over and reposition the letters in the center,..no big deal!!! I would have preferred different tailights on back like the 67-68 shelby's,..and also side scoops,...and a meaner hood!
at this point I only care about my 67 GT500. it is off to the left on the deck lid by the way. the Dealer mark up is a disgrace. when the Salesman that I know says to me , "well the owner wants to know what you think Fair market value for the car is..." I replied, "The same Value FORD put on it MSRP"! if it was worth anymore, they would be charging it! are insurance companies going to cover the Dealer markups if your car gets jacked I wonder?? I suddenly realized I had fallen for the Hype and now feel Foolish. I'll buy a used one at Half price two years from now if I REALLY need one by then!
At this point they have already decided on the badging placement. I agree it looked great across the back. However I am also fine with it being off centre. I voted "could care less" at this point.
