hi, years ago i sold a 1968 gt500kr that needed resto on ebay and cleaning out the garage the other day i found a bag with the original SHELBY script and the original vin tag. Anyone know how I could find the current owner to pass it on to them? Or would this be anything they would even want?
Most definately it should be sent to the current owner. We can probably locate him. Post the VIN or send it in a pm to Pete (coralsnake) or me and we can help.
heck now that i look at it, was in a bag of stuff, it may not be a vin tag, more of an option type tag of some sort but I am sure you will know right off starts off with a 298 in the upper left corner and the tag has a three punches out of it, one is a star and the other punch some cross looking punch and an arrow looking punch in the left hand lower corner. also the tag looks like it was attached by a single screw, top center, which is still in the tag Here is what is on it 298 12 17F 63B FDS A5 8T02R210106 D ACA BU MT SA PB PS DE GT TC RB CS ST Thanks for your reply
