Hello...I am new to the web site and need some help...recently I replaced my factory clutch with an SST Twin from Spec...Clutch cost was about 1400.00...It was somewhat too agressive for wife and daughters...I took it out and replaced with Ford 2010 factory clutch...I sent the Spec SST back to Spec and they sent it back throught the factory and certified it and repackaged it...To make a long story short I need to sell it...Any offers???
Re: Clutch how about 800 dollars. i'm in need of one. mine is very noisy, and only a matter of time. thx. rob widner.
Re: Clutch Keep the clutch, because you will need it. If you get any stop and go driving, it will go out on you. Ford replace my 2007 unit last year with the 2010 Sachs one. 9000 miles it looks like swiss cheese now. Replace it with a Spec 2+. It was 3 week over the 1 year, so Ford would not replace it.
Re: Clutch Do not know if this will help you, but I had success in getting Ford Motor Co. to pay for a new clutch on my 2009 GT500 at 9,300 miles - bought used from CrossRoads Ford in Cary, NC, April 2011. Warranty did not cover new clutch or labor. Dealer contacted Ford and Ford pointed out a bulletin they had issued regarding a defective design in the 2007-2009 clutches. That honest admission of a problem which was Ford's fault, and my great dealer, saved me over $2K.
