Looking for info on the 69-70 license plate light. I know the part number was C9ZZ-13550-B and was actually a C9TZ truck light. Was the light assembly a sealed light with a wiring pigtail bezel or a separate threaded bezel and light? What engineering number is on the bezel, 64TK, 69TK or 70TK? Does anyone have a picture? Thanks to everyone-my newbie second post
Here are some shots (I happen to have the car at the shop today) Car is a 3/31/69 built GT500 fastback Hope you find them helpful Bill S.
The light consists of a glass lens half covered with a steel eyebrow painted black . The lens /bezel assembly plugs into the round opening of the fiberglass tail panel .It is held in with small teeth looking arms surrounding the perimeter of the base of the lens. The bulb fixture plugs into the back of the glass lens . It has a ground and a power lead because of the fiberglass tailpanel panel . I have seen a number of different markings with the 64 TK the most prevelent. Bob
It is held in to the surrounding fiberglass panel by small teeth looking arms surrounding the perimeter of the base of the lens. The metal teeth are part of the bezal that the glass lens is crimped into. It pushs into the panel . Bob
