Dark Green 4 spd very rough, I'm slowly restoring. Original 428 was long gone, replacing with a 427 MR.

Here are a couple of pics of 1769 that gets driven as much as the weather allows.
Originally a Grabber Green car it was repainted in a '68 colour, Brittany Blue, when it was restored in the mid 90's.
Original drive train and with the exception of the colour pretty much the way it left the dealership in '69 including stock exhaust & smog.
Everything works and it is a blast to drive.

    Cheers
    Trent

Hi, I am new to this forum and this is my first post. There is a large wealth of information on this site. Wow, What a tight community.

A little about my self and why I am here. My name is Abel from Burbank CA. I am helping out my boss/friend with the restoration of this 1970 #2732 Shelby GT500. He has selected a body shop and we are doing our homework to get the car done close to factory specs as much as possible.

Looking for information chassis and body factory marks. Does anyone have any leads for that information? Is the chassis and undercarriage in flat, satin, or gloss black from factory?

Will post pictures soon from body shop.

    #1033 69 GT-500 Auto

I purchased this car the summer of 1973. I sold a 69 Mach I for $1200 and paid $1800 for the Shelby. The good old days.

Had not done much to it over the years till this spring, put about $5000 into it and have been driving it around quite a bit.:laf:

    Will post a picture later
