Nice Shelby. Hope it goes to a good home. Ron, I will make sure your old 69 GT 500 finds a caring new owner. I won't let Dan Cundiff, sell to an overseas Goat Herding Oil Tycoon. Swapping cars for checks is so... cold. I like to think I am looking for new caretakers of an irreplaceable Shelby "Metal on Oil & Glass." Around 1985 - 90 ( in the good ole days,) we mailed fliers with cars for sale. I posted anything. There were no web sites or even Ebay. Hemmings was considered expensive! I remember helping Ken Salter, (customer ) sell a restored 65 350 ( # 561 ) for $ 20,000. The idea came, that we could make PROFIT, from consigning cars, occasionally. We started charging a brokers fee of 8 - 10 %. Now we list cars on our web site, and try to find a good match for the Mustang or Shelby. I don't need to pressure any buyers, as good cars sell themselves. Our restoration business brings plenty of steady work and a side benefit of new buyers and sellers. So.. maybe these are going to be "good ole days", all over again with new prices of $ 200,000 for 65 Shelbys. Pete Geisler Orlando Mustang 407 688 1966
