RE: GT prices

  1. The last person boasting of a car for sticker actually wanted 20k over. =
    If
they are for real, I'd like to see it. Despite the Autoweek article, =
    most
dealers are still wishing around 170K. Koon's Ford in Baltimore STILL =
    wants
almost $190k...meanwhile, I have a list of over 150 people who will pay
sticker or slightly over. Wake up and smell the coffee Dealers!

How about a change of pace. All this talk about big bucks, remember all =
    the
to do over the going prices for the new Ford GT? $200 K + etc. Check =
    out
the August 29, 2005 Autoweek. Pg. 20 - 21 has an autofile on the 2005
version. The base price including delivery is $153,345. As Tested is=20
$158,095. OWNERS PAID' AVERAGE $156,595 to $177,350. Owners also
considered the BMW M-5, Porsche 911 Turbo, and Ferrari 360 Modena. Only
real problem I have with the autofile is comparing it to a Porsche GT-2.
That's evidently the only thing they could find that beats this beast in =
    a
    couple=20
of areas. Although having one would be neat, I'll wait for the 07 =
    GT-500 as
an all round driver. SEE YA LEE M

  2. Patrick,
If you have 150 people ready to pay sticker or slightly above, you're going
to be a busy man! I have a friend in the northeast who just bought one
$5000.00 BACK of sticker! For all those who paid the PREMIUM to get your GT
early, you can pick up your jar of Vaseline at any CVS, Walgreens,
Wal-Marts, etc..... to help with the discomfort you may be feeling! : )
    Thank you,
