This little beauty will lift a car about 36 inches, which is MORE than adequate for virtually anything you'd need to do. Cost new was about $1800, I bought it used for $1200. It has a 6000 lb capacity I believe. Dunno where you would go to buy another one of these, but I LOVE it!!!! Can't understand how I lived without it for all those years..... Mike
