Shelby main caps question.

    Greetings, Can you transfer the thicker '66 Shelby main caps do a different block. You see, the original Shelby block is gone, but I saved the caps. I'd apprecitate any advice. Thank you!

    Yes many people do that to create a hipo block . There are even reproduction hipo main caps available now for the same purpose. You have to line bore the block but that is no big deal. Just make sure you are using a block with a C5 casting number (starter area) apposed to a C8 if concerned about historical correctness. I hope this helps.
