    1. Did they tape the oil sender wire to the engine feed in a couple spots? Or just run it in the clips along the valve with the feed w/o taping?

    2. For the starter cable bracket when I took the motor out there was one sandwiched between the engine insulator and bracket on the front bolt is this correct? Or does it just go under one of the nuts and should there just be one?

    3. I am now also working on a 68 KR and it has some mesh in all the side scoops, I don't think this is original but want to check with you guys. Cause the 500 I'm working on does not have it.

    Thanks Bill

I have not seen the op wire taped. It just lays on the manifold.

There are usually two brackets under the engine insulator mounting nuts.

No grilles, thats not a Shelby item

Coralsnake I was looking at your website and reading about the op wire and was wondering if you had a picture showing it cause I am having trouble picturing it in my head

From what I am somewhat gathering they took the 90 degree end that they cut from the engine feed hooked it to the sender then connected it to the gauge wiring with the scotch-lok connector?
