Car was media blasted to bare metal and refinished in Wimbledon White, code M. Underside has the correct iron oxide finish with over spray. Original numbers matching engine is included with sale of car,(would need rebuilt). Current engine is a 302c.i. that has been bored and stroked to 347c.i. by Keith Craft Racing Engines Inc of Arkadelphia, AR,(Forged,Balanced,Roller,Etc,to much to list). Paxton Supercharger with original chrome air cleaner. Runs good but could use some carb tuning to maximize it's full potential,(Quick Fuel Technologies 750 cfm with 4 corner idle, adjustable air bleeds, no choke). Original C-4 tranny is gone, Performance Automatic Inc of Gaithersburg, MD built an AOD tranny that retains the stock shifter and kick down linkage for originality. This car cruises down the highway at 70-80 mph with ease in overdrive. The 9" diff now has 3.90 gears, and a Detroit Locker. Frame rails have been tied together with a Total Control products X-Cage, and South Side Lift Bars installed. I was building this Shelby to drag race but never raced. I wanted to keep the Shelby stock looking as much as possible. Beautiful restored black interior with Carroll Shelby's signature and Shelby number 1777 above glove box, with Certificate of Authenticity. Stock AM radio and clock are disconnected, did not use, may or may not work. Steering wheel tilt and swing away parts were removed but retained. Wheel still tilts up and down with lever. Factory tach is disconnected, will not work with aftermarket ignition system,(could be converted to work with system).
