I would love to have a Ford GT but I just spent my $160000 on the down for my new house (with a 3 car garage and extra shop area of course) so I will have to do without the really cool Ford GT. There are several reasons I see that there are a glut of GTs out there. There is a ford dealer over here that still has a cobra R on his floor and has no intention of selling it. he has it as a draw into the showroom and he takes it out to show it off to attract people to his dealership. The same guy was getting a GT to do the same with. still there are others that are just plain greedy and are trying to maintain the 'air' of demand on these cars. personally if had more money than I knew what to do with I would be willing to pay over list just to me the first on the block with one, but I am not in that position. one one hand ford it doing wrong by putting a glut of the cars out there buy ford does concentrate on production and not exclusivity. on the other hand ford is doing right by making a bit of a glut so the dealers are not gouging the customer. I think ford better work on a better ballance in the situation. bob
