I just finished reading this book and had to comment. Whether you're a hard core Shelby enthusiast or simply a "weekend warrior" casual fan, this book should be in your library. It has something of interest for everyone. The book is filled with countless facts, figures and terrific photos. The author's dedication to accuracy separates the many facts from fiction and his writing style is such that he takes all those many bits and pieces of technical information and weaves them into his chronological storyline. He writes about those years of Shelby production in a way that makes the reader feel he could be right in Shelby's facility, a part of the team that made these cars a reality. This is without a doubt, the most informative book written covering this era of the classic Shelby Mustang.
Got mine a few weeks ago at Barnes & Noble. Very well done and condensed considering all the details known about these cars.
Probably has more pictures for any book its size than any other Shelby book. And excellent paper too. You can see the advent of the digital camera made it possible (as he says in the beginning) to photograph more than one ever could with a film camera. Little put off by the price, but if you are restoring a Shelby you need this book to make sure you have the proper parts. And the price is probably 20% lower on Amazon.com
