The COBRA was Built at AC Cars in England and never came over to the States in the sixties. It was just signed by Carroll Shelby Last week at Lime Rock. Tonight I watched it Sell for over $800 Thousand Dollars! Rand Workman Auction in NYC was a Virtual Bust, but this was one Car that did well.
I saw the car at Limerock 2 weeks ago. It was a beauty. White with blue stripes. Billy Andrews ar HRE did the work on it. Also, i got to meet Carrol and i had him sign my order form for CSX4819, He was very friendlyand told me he hopes i enjoy my car when i get it. I walked out of the tent tingling i was so excited. Just FYI, 3301 had not changed hands as of a few weeks ago when I was talking to the owner at a local car show (there with his race verison 4007R Shelby). I sure do like that car though, kinda looks familiar .
