    Hi KenG.
No i have not tried it there. In fact i never heard of them.
Do they have the seat or the rubber boot?
I thought the boot i might get here in germany too at a
local tractor dealer or something like that.
Could you give me the address for that store you told me?

    Thank you very much!

    Hi Jerr
They just used a innertube they cut to make the seal that the traction bar
fit through and rivetted to the floor. Some cars also had a fiberglass piece
thaht fit over the traction bar. My car is 5S550 and my car had the fiberglass
    covers.

An inner tube is what was used to hold air in a non tubeless tire. Instead of tube, would you call that a hose in Germany? schlauch?

Delta Bay Mustang is located in California USA.They do have the seat for sale.
I bought mine there and it looks great. You have to get a little creative getting the seat bracket(they also sell this) attached to the seat .
Their website is deltabaymustang.com and look under high performance parts. There you will find a list of all their R model parts including the seat.
The picture is what it looks like in my car.
    Good luck,
    Pete.

    Hi Jerry
They cut a oval hole in the floor and cut the innertube (hose) to fit the oval hole in floor board. In the hose from top to bottom they cut a slit for the bar
    to go through.

Hey that seat looks hot! How is driving with it? Is it hard? Tell me your
    expirience with this seat please.
Thank you for this picture and the address
for the shop, hope they are not so expensive like others i`ll see.

    @OVERRIDE

OK i have understood. But is this way to do it good for keeping water out?
What are your experience? Thank you for your opinion.

    Hi Jerry
I only got caught in the rain a few times with the car. When i pulled the tray
out of the car to replace the override bushings i did not see any signs of water or rust, i think that they are  enough and with the rubber seal you
do not get water up in there. When you weld the bracket to the floor do not weld it to the floor first, weld it to a thin flat plate first then to the floor.
    Regards
    Mike

    Hi Jerry
I am having a rough day. The holes for the override bars are cut high enough on the floor pan and with the seal you should not get a lot of water in there.

    Hi OVERRIDE

    Hi Jerry
The welds cracked and the floor is thin and it was easier to weld it to the plate then to the floor and i did it like that a few years ago and then still are in great shape.

    Hi,
    Regarding the traction bar boots.
    On my 65 GT350 I use a 66 Ford Truck emergency
    brake boot, C6T something that
fits exactly in the oval hole and with a tight
opening for the bar to go through. Looks great and
works. Got the tip in the SAAC publication the Marque
25 years ago. Also have the fiberglas covers.
