    HI Everyone

Well from an ongoing problem someone helped out and Pushed me and I found the cant idle or run problem.

Well I did find my carb problem. It was me!! I placed the wrong gasket from the kit on the Metering block! Starved for fuel.

With the correct gasket and primed fuel I can get it running and get strong throttle response. However I cant keep it from stalling , it lopes. I crank the curb idle screw very high to keep from falling flat but shudders at its low point. then it spins back up again. A repeating cycle of 5 seconds? I worry it still may be the carb.

The parts counter guy told me the timing is off from 12 year old gas in the old tank to current gas in a new tank. I have not tried that yet. I really don't think that's the problem.

    What do you think? Anyone?

My 66 mustang lopes up and down, I have to crank down a high idle to keep it from stalling . I disassembled the carburetor, it did not require much cleaning at all. A simple basic heat choke, vac secondary's Holley 4150. Replaced all the gaskets quite correctly and now I wonder if my idle is related to my work or the choke, floats levels etc needs adjustments.

I am trying to find air leaks with spray gas but with such a loud engine and bad rpms I have difficulty.
