Re: Auction news

  1. List Members,

I spoke with Jacky Jones @ Cherokee Show. He was involved in a Boss 302
SALE @ $ 144,000. No mention of the buyer's name.

BOSS 429's have reached $ 100 K for basic project cars. Nice 429 cars are
    $ 150 - $ 200 K.

VERY FEW 65 or 66 Shelbys are available. This means the prices are low.

End of the summer was very quiet in Florida, as expected. Everyone waits
until B-J and the Spring to start Buying. The smart buyers are looking
    ahead
    one to two years.

My money is going into nice restored or UN-restored cars, ( NOT auction cars
    ).

I'm hoping the market on Jap Bikes (Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki) stays cheap.
These are a blast, for next to nothing !

Just enjoy hearing what some of the Shelby's are bringing at auction.

    Hey Pete,

You are so right on the bikes of the asian persuasion. I picked up a Vmax for 3500, this is a true 11 second cruiser! What fun for next to nothing.

    all the best,

  3. Cool!

I have been tempted to pull the 289 hi po out of my 65-350 car and put in a Honda v6 rear wheel motor. I think that will be a fun challenge
    hahahaha

I know...I can see your eyeballs rolling up into your head!
