    . . . over a Shelby, I suspect. What are Dragonsnakes? Five 260/289 Cobras and one 427 built by Shelby American specifically for drag racing. Two of the five were campaigned by the factory, the rest sold to private competitors. CSX2019 was the first of the two factory comp cars.

    I was aware that a hand full of Cobras were built for drag racing. The Dragonsnake name must have slipped my mind.

    have had 6s2187 since 1984, found original 1967 Paxton setup and added it in 1986...just to eat Corvettes for breakfast! :thumbsup:

    When you say "vintage knowledge," do you mean vintage as in Rumsfeld's Old Europe, or knowlege about vintage Shelbys?
