What year Shelby to look for

    Now that I'm retired I want a Shelby. Wondering if you'd recommend a specific year to look for ? Any years more reliable than others ?
    Would like a supercharged car for once.

    Do you know whether you want a GT500, Shelby GT, or or maybe even a GT500 Super Snake? You should probably figure out what your budget is and go from there because pricing can vary considerably depending upon which year and model.

    Would look for 2011 thru 2014, the 5.4 / 5.8 make pretty good hp stock, & there's plenty of mods available.
    .
    2011 / 2012 ( 5.4 ) was factory rated @ 550 ( crank ) hp.
    2013 / 2014 ( 5.8 ) was factory rated @ 662 ( crank ) hp.
