Here is a link to a photo showing the stock setup with a 351C: http://www.panteraplace.com/Tech Info/Mikes AC 091601 7.jpg Note that it uses a very complex bracket that also incorporates an idler pulley. Attached is a folder with three photos showing an aftermarket setup on a 351W, which presumably would fit your motor just fine. The replacement bracket (cad-colored) bolts to the block, incorporates a pivot for the alternator to swing on, and uses the stock alternator arm for adjustment; A/C belt tension is set by sliding the bracket in its oval slots. Call your friendly neighborhood Pantera parts vendor and ask for a 351W A/C mounting bracket. :>) www.panterapartsconnection.com (Reno) www.panteraperformancecenter.com (Aurora, Co) www.precisionproformance.com (Orange County, CA) www.panterasbywilkinson.com (Orange County, CA) www.hallpantera.com (Orange County, CA) www.pim.net (Orange County, CA) www.panteraeast.com (St. Petersburg, FL) PI Motorsports (www.pim.net) specializes in installing Windsor motors in Panteras, so they probably have a Windsor bracket in stock; the others would probably have to order it.
