So as the Ghost ( early 68 gt350 )is refurbished I have a lot of stuff on the shelf. I personally hate clutter and the likely hood of me putting the stuff back on is slim what is the best way to get my stuff to someone that wants it. Steering wheel with cracks and missing the horn rim, but does have shelby logo. Speaker, cone crumbled says ford on the magnet Autolite Carberator with choke cut off it Cast Iron Manifold Wheels with 5 spoke hubcaps came car I already tossed the undercarrige stuff, because driving code 3 is not cool on 39 year tie rods and linkage. Driver error is one thing, mechanical failure is bad. Keeping stuff like this if I was going to re sell it is a great idea, but i hate extra stuff catching dust. Ebay?
Ghost, anything that is original to the car that can be restored or used to bring the car back to original stock specifications, I would keep. Put it in a box and put it away. Once it is gone you can't get it back and many times it is very important to future owners. When you go to sell it this stuff will add value to the buyer I can guarantee that. Even old beat up used original Koni shocks and the like are of value. Anything that is not car specific from a history point of view or is duplicate, I have had a fair amount of success on eBay. Shelby and Mustang parts are followed pretty widely on the site and they tend to go for good numbers even for incomplete systems and old parts. Regards Dave
