Before replying to ANY email that appears to be from eBay, or a member of eBay, put the mail you were reading on the side, go to eBay directly and check the messages that are stored in your account. Every message that comes through them, even spoof responses (messages from them that are sent to you if you are reporting a fraudulent activity) are there. I have played cat and mouse a few times, just for s*&%$ & giggles, once the seller claimed the car was in Sicily, and I had a ball, becuse the town was one I had visited, and my wife is the cousin of the Senator there. I drove him nuts asking why I was at a certian intersection but could not find the car, etc. ah, fun times... M. In a message dated 12/6/2005 3:46:22 P.M. If you do your passwords and user names will be compromised. The way you can spot a fake is just to reply to the email and if an email address pops up it should be legit. Best advise is to never reply to the yellow reply now button >From: ecj <ecj@peoplepc.com> >Reply-To: ecj <ecj@peoplepc.com> >To: shelbymustang@carmemories.com >Subject: Fw: Re: E-Bay Auction #4595435867 >Date: Tue, 6 Dec 2005 12:58:26 -0500 (EST) > > > > >I thought I'd play along with this con-man too and see where it goes.
