I think this is what they were trying to do with this "example" case. IMHO that is how it should be. I don't think any of us have any problem with something being sold as a "clone" or "replica", our problem is when the car somehow gets mis-represented as the real thing. The days of unknowing people really getting screwed by scam artists is still vivid enough with many of us. Loke them or not, before SAAC information on these cars was hard to find, and lots of people paid Shelby prices for a Mustang with a paint job, loud exhausts, quarter windows and brake scoops. Today anyone putting down $100K+- knows enough to make sure, so it is more of an annoyance for us going through ebay auctions looking for real cars. It just bothers me to see 2 week old kit Cobras with 1965 antique plates, but that is another story. >I think we need to get the real story behind all this.
