I have a 65 Shelby R model clone, replica or what ever you want to call it. It is not an exact replica because I wanted to improve on the original. If I want to sell the car and I thing Shelby Inc. will create a problem what could they do if I advertise it as "Not a Shelby R model"? Anyone who will be interested in it will be able to figure out what it is and will buy it for what it is and how well it is put together. They will figure out it is a clone or a replica as I will tell them. It will still bring what it is worth as a Clone or Replica if it is a nice car. If there is a perceived value to the looks of the car because it looks like a Shelby R model then so be it. There is some real junk out there when it comes to people calling their cars Shelby clones. Too many people think they have a Shelby Clone or Replica if they just put some side stripes or a hood scoop on. Buyer beware and to bad for the idiots that pay big bucks because someone advertises the name Shelby in the add. Just my two cents worth. Greg www.uniquemotorcars.net
