Re: Clones Illegal to use SHELBY name

  1. Ford and Shelby Licensing agreements are only for those parts that have a
    logo involved. If the logo is not on the part they have no interest. All
    the decals weve had made involving the logo with Ford have been approved by
    the Ford licensing agreement

  2. Interesting.

    So...with this logo principle in mind, you could build a Shelby clone and just not use the "Shelby" logos and still get away with the clone right? Or does this mean that Shelby will have no interest
    until they see how big the Shelby stuff will be.

    Im no expert but my gut feeling tells me that as the Shelby cars bring in more bucks, what we thought was not an infringement issue might become one.
