Yeah, I saw one GT500 in the last round. Sold for 117k or 118k. The commentators were surprised it didn't go for more. Apperently there was a lull in bidding due to most of the big spender/big name guys and shops not being there that day.

    I think it was a '68.

But the list I posted is for the mid January auction coming up. Tuesday the 17th to Sunday the 22nd are the actual auction dates.

I can't stand Jackson, nothing worse than seeing that fake smile, his slicked- back hair, rubbing his hands together as he counts his commission fee in his head after each sale. I think this auction since it's become so hyped by Speed TV, aka The Nascar Channel, has driven prices up and out of sight on so many cars thusly eliminating the average guy who would truly appreciate and drive these cars but can no longer afford many of the marques. I guess it's real ego boosting for some rich dude to stand on the stage with his drink while the TV camera is on, bidding for something that's worth half the price of what's paid, I guess. I'm sure there are no stats kept, but I wonder what the reality is when people go to sell something bought on B-J, if their exorbitant price they paid is recovered on their sale?? My $.02......... :)

Commissioner, I've often thought that myself. If the car leaves the 'BJ circle of sales', I wonder if its value will go down significantly when a buyer outside of 'the circle', so to speak, has more time to assess the car. In other words, the next time the car sells, it better be by BJ to keep its 'value'. ??? Just wonderin'.

Commisioner I couldn't agree more about B.J and the Nascar channel as much as I enjoy watching a good nascar race its the Nascar Today ,Nascar Yesterday , Nascar Nation, Nascar News .it just gets to be a little to much. Not looking forward to Feb. on Speed

The hype of the show adds to the price the car brings. No way would some of those prices happen outside of BJ. On TV, on stage with the female egging you on. The best was the Cuda from a few years ago going for I think 135K. What a embarrasment.
