I saw this and thought I would pass it on. http://aldridgemotorsportsinc.com/pages/enginefs.html Johnny http://www.polybushings.com
I've delt with Denny before. He is in Portland, Or. He talks big and is very difficult to work with. Everyone I know who meets him wallks away shaking their head. I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.
I know people that have bought from him. People that walk away are people that want it "cheap" while he doesn't sell his stuff to low cost bargain hunters. Johnny http://www.polybushings.com
Sounds like you have been condintioned by Denny. I've never heard a guy who likes to hear himself talk so much. I had to put up with a three hour hard sell one day berfore he would answer any of my questions. I wanted to blow my brains out when I left his shop. He will tell you about all the guys who call him and waste his time because they don't have any money. I heard his pitch. What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes he talks too much, tries to be to informative to say the least. All had to have done is say something like, "no more info please, I just want the price". Johnny Great parts for great Shelby's http://www.polybushings.com
Johnny, Wow, thanks for the insight on proper communication techniques. I guess my Masters degree and Marketing Consultant carrer has been a complete and total waste. I never thought that I could simply just ask a question any time. Man, I should have thought about that. Thanks for the advice. Now I know what to do next time I'm with a blow hard like "Denny don't waste my time."
johnny, Thanks for the link. The man appears to have something to offer Bugzaper, Thanks for the insight into Denny's personality. If anyone else has had business dealings with Aldridge, good or bad, feel free to post. Just please keep it civil. robin
