Need registry info on a '69 Shelby GT500

    I'm looking at buying one, but need info as to its authenticity. I can provide the vin and other info.

    Well, this is NOT a secret society. You can post the vin here, and, someone who has a registry can look up the info and post it here, for all to see.
    Problem with that is the last SAAC registry was published in 1997, so, the information is already 9 years old.
    You can always email the correct year SAAC registrar, for up-to-date information.
    Also, you might wish to buy a Marti report at www.martiauto.com which also provides information about the build date, original options, dealer sold to.

    This car as of the 1997 registry is owned by David Bush in Texas. Originally sold in Ohio. Any more specific info I may be able to help you with?

    I was thinking the same thing. I wouldn't doubt him wanting to out do the previous President. I remember hearing Clinton took his mustang to a national event when he was in office.
