I was curious what other Shelby Mustang enthusiasts think about longer term collectibility and value....will the '07 "Shelby" GT500 from Ford's SVT have more, less or about the smae enduring value as the '06/'07 GT Mustangs that Shelby Automotive plans to tune to create the C6 (package #2 with Paxton Supercharger).... I'm not that much of a power hound, and so the difference in HP is not that much of a concern for me...and I kind of like the look/styling of the C6 concept...so assuming Shelby Automotive actually get's their program into production, I was thinking the C6 may be an option to waiting and/or paying so much over sticker for the GT500.
Check out the post " Will the Real Shelby be noticed" not only a CS6 but a CS8 will be offered and not the West Coast one. Tout
Thanks Tout...do you have a link to that post....I checked the CSA web site this morning and sent email inquiring about production plancs for the CS6...I haven't heard back yet...do you have any info on their schedule?
Link to post mentioned above... http://www.shelbyforums.com/forums/open-community-forum/3048-will-real-2007-shelby-noticed.html Also, I think they are still working out the details as to which components they will be putting together to make up the CS6 package. Let us know if anyone hears word about specifics.
..I love "real influenced" Carroll Shelby cars,...but west coast customs "riced out" the mustang GT too much for me,...I would prefer for Carroll to take the new '07 shelby gt500,and work his magic to it,..without the riced out look!
