A crashed Shelby at over $75,000 with 6 hours to go. The kicker is it has not even hit reserve.

I know a little about this car, my uncle was the second owner and took me to school in this car back in the 70's. Thats how I got the "Shelby Fever". What is it that you want to know? Ed

I am curious why it is so Pricey? Killing a Deer with a Shelby never increased their values much, if at all. other than that feat, am I missing something about this car? was it Raced? Celebrity History?? it is obviously at least $25,000 away from being a Nice Car again. The math does not add up in the end. at least not this year anyway!!

I wondered the same thing. Ended at $85,000 and never hit reserve. Pretty steep money for something that needs that much work.

I think that makes three of us wondering the same thing. The new owner said he's only had the car for 8 days and does not seem to know as much about the car as I do. Maybe He was misled about the value, also the bidders didn't have much feedback. I also think thats alot of money for the car, but I wish I could buy it. Ed
